The Green Samaritan™ - Encouraging earth-friendly deeds in everyday living.
After living a fairly fast life in the corporate world, I’ve had the opportunity to gear down and in the process rediscover a few areas that have always been important to me but somehow got left behind on the way to one of those many meetings, airports or hotels.
As I now strive to resume my eco-awareness and more importantly, as a wife and mom living in the mainstream, I realize that what I do
today will impact what happens tomorrow. While I have made basic changes in my life such as switching from paper/plastic to reusable totes, changing out my light bulbs, and installing a rain barrel, I know there is much more to do.
With that being said, I do not consider myself to be The Green Samaritan or for that matter an environmental activist or even an authentic “greenie”…but just an everyday person who wants to lend a helping hand and be a source of information to share what I learn as I travel along this road towards greater overall awareness.
So join me and together we can all learn, share and lend a hand to the next person on down the line.
